Now, not a lot happens in Tewkesbury really. I think it’s a lovely town, steeped in history, and I’m proud to live here, but the town is probably best known for being submerged by water five years ago! Today, however, there was an unexpected splash of colour which went down a treat. The town was ‘Yarnbombed’ overnight. If you’re not familiar with this term, take a look at the photos that Richard took earlier………….. all the bollards, signs, bins and benches got the woolly treatment. I happen to know that responsibility for this lies with The Button Draw – our local yarn and generally gorgeous crafty bits-and-bobs shop. Next time you are in the town call in and say hello. Well done ladies!
